Little Tug is the smallest boat in the harbor. There are a lot of things he can’t do. When comparing himself to the other ships in the harbor, he’s not the tallest, he’s not the biggest, and he’s not the longest or the strongest. But Little Tug has an important job to do. He helps other boats when they’re in a pickle and can’t do things on their own.
Little Tug teaches that qualifications don’t make a person a person. Labels and names and standards can seem overwhelming. Comparisons never did anyone a favor. Little Tug shows everyone that every item in an equation has a role to play and can inspire young minds to help those around them.
