Little Alien's two throats, five ears, and three noses are all scratchy, runny and sore. Daddy Alien gets him a Milky Way milkshake for his throats. Mama Alien makes some of Granny Alien's Famous Shooting-Star Ear Drops. They call in the lunar decongestant for his noses. Mars Rover, Little Alien's pet, is sad that Little Alien was so sick so he tries every trick he knows to make Little Alien smile. It works! But Mars Rover catches a cold too and they snuggle up together in Little Alien's bed.
Your little space enthusiast will love this book! It is chock full of clever space references and odd little details. The silly story will slip a smile on the face of a sick child and may even make them glad they don't have 2 throats, 5 ears and 3 noses to worry about! Campbell's pen, watercolor, and colored pencil illustrations are adorable and keep the readers focus on the main subjects while still providing great details of the alien world to feed the imagination. This is the perfect story to tuck away for those days when nothing seems to cheer up your child.
