Dirty bricks, new bricks, rough bricks, and red bricks; there are ton and TONS of bricks! Come count them by two’s and by ten’s as constructions workers make bricks and turn them into roads, houses and libraries.
The book starts off with just a few bricks on the page, but with each page there is more and more until there is a whole city made from bricks. Billions of Bricks is different from most counting books because the author alternates between counting by twos, fives, and tens rather than counting one to ten, etc. There is rhyming verse with short stanzas and a dynamic font size. This enjoyable book will not make kids feel like their learning even though they are!
