Nathaniel wants to know if dragons live on Mars, so he sends an email to Mars with an invitation for them to come visit Earth. The dragons reply quickly and visit Earth! But the dragons accidentally trash Nathaniel’s house. They feel sorry and start fixing up the house, adding a safe part to stay in. They realize they love Earth and invite their other friends from Mars to come visit!

This cute story has fun rhymes and wonderful illustrations to help tell the story. Dragons from Mars can teach children the importance of being responsible for their own mistakes and taking the time to make things right (just as the dragons repaired the house). The illustrations make the dragons look friendly rather than scary or monster-like as they are sometimes portrayed in other books or movies. The book is fairly short and simple enough for young children to understand.
