Fairy tale characters always seem to have a better life than we do. However, is that really true? It turns out, even fairies fart. Goblins, wizards, unicorns, and trolls aren’t perfect either. They brag, mope, and get scared at night. Learn more about these and other silly creatures who end up not being as different from us as we thought! We don’t have to be perfect to be loved.
This book is so cute! It talks about the imperfections of a variety of fairy tale creatures and extends the idea that we love them anyway. Likewise, the message is that we as humans do not need to be perfect in order to be loved. Stinson tells this story in a cute, rhyming pattern that adds to the joy of reading this book. The pictures are fun to look at and are often the cause of laughter to the reader. Fantastic read!
