Since they became friends, Troll and Oliver have been making cakes together for the other trolls to eat at Trolliver's Cafe. One day when Oliver's sister Dolly goes missing, all of the trolls warn them that they shouldn't go to Munch Mountain, where Dolly disappeared to, because of the terrifying Grumbug that lives there. Unafraid, Oliver is determined to find his sister and prove that even the scariest trolls can be friendly if you have enough cake.
Fans who enjoyed Troll and the Oliver will be delighted to have another cake-loving adventure with their friends from the first book. The addition of more trolls is delightful, and Oliver has the same confidence that made readers love him in the first book. While it doesn't have the same surprising effect as the first book, the rhyming, illustrations, and characters will be lots of fun for both young readers and the adults as they read together.
