An adaptation of Lewis Carroll's famous nonsense poem Jabberwocky, fit for young and upcoming readers. The concept of nonsense words are introduced as a boy's father tells him of many of the frightening monsters that he should avoid. His dad is very glad that he stays safe and they celebrate.

This board book keeps much of the original text. The author does edit out some sections, like the beheading of the Jabberwock which is probably best for the intended audience. Each pages has vivid colors with high contrast which gives it a pop art kind of feel. The typography is also colorful and mixed in with graphics that match the style of the illustrations. The layout and style of the book is creative, dramatic, and engaging.
