Elliot would like a little Christmas spirit in his heart, but he can't seem to find any, wherever he looks. His mouse friend joins in the search, but they don't have much success until they find a lost letter for Santa. They try to return it to Santa in the store, but he is nowhere to be found. Elliot and mouse take it upon themselves to deliver the gift requested in the letter. In doing so, Elliot finds that he does have the Christmas spirit after all.
Cute illustrations in primarily reds and greens bring the spirit of the holiday season immediately into the story. Elliot's friend, Mouse, is a loyal little friend who stands by Elliot throughout the search and reinforces the idea that the holiday spirit is best found in friendship and the things that we give to others. This is a perfect holiday story for anyone seeking some holiday cheer of their own. It is well illustrated with a very important and beautiful message.
