Peter had a terrific idea! He wants to build a tower out of his blocks to grab a star for Mommy (and to see if the Moon was really made out of cheese). With a little help from his sister, Pinkalicious, he is able to gather enough blocks to reach far into the sky. Although he forgot to bring his net to catch a star, he has crackers just in case the Moon was really made out of cheese. Being so far up, Peter started to feel a little lonely and nervous about how to get back down from his tower. Thinking of what Pinkalicious would do, he made himself a parachute to float back home. His parents, happy with his return, encouraged Peter to make new and improved plans for a tower that is a little more safe.
With playful illustrations and the curiosity of young children, readers will be sure to enjoy! A wonderful story to be read to young children who may not know how to read as they can understand the story and enjoy through the colorful illustrations. Peter learns that he can do big things and that it is important to listen to his parents. Although he built the tower alone he realized that he needed help in getting all the blocks to build it. Fans of Pinkalicious will be sure to love this one!
