Counting sheep is a necessity before falling asleep, but what happens when a sheep gets stuck in the fence? The show must go on and you find help where you can. From the blind mice to the three little pigs, everyone is there to help the reader fall asleep. Everyone pitches in to jump the fence and continue the count, except that 101 remains in the way. They call for help and Sheep 101 is rescued and able to help complete the count.

Morris has created a cute picture book that young children will love. While this book contains nothing to distinguish it from other bedtime story books, it's a quick read with bright, colorful pictures. The story is very short, but is spread out among many pages. Children will enjoy seeing familiar nursery rhyme characters appear in the story and will enjoy looking at the large illustrations. Overall, it's a good choice for a bedtime story if you are looking for a quick read.
