Goose goes on a picnic and takes everything with him, including his large piano! As he crosses the roundabout that is filled with trucks, the piano falls out of his wagon without him knowing! All kinds of truck drivers are upset with him because they can’t get their trucks around the piano! They get goose’s attention and try to move it, but it turns out the only thing that will help the trucks be able to move is another truck...a tow-truck!
Truck, Truck, Goose is a fun story told using mostly the illustrations. The only words in the book are “truck,” “goose,” and a surprise “moose” at the end. The story line is comical because of the absurdness of it, and it is fun to read it in the manner of “duck, duck, goose.” The pictures fill the page and contain details that make it fun to look at for more than solely the plot line. This is great for children who are too young to read or just learning. Have fun identifying all the kinds of trucks!
