The stream has run out of water. Badger helps his friends collect all the water they have left to save it. When they find out the pond has dried out too, they let their frog friends swim in the water. With no water to drink or use, they hike up the dried stream until they come to a mountain spring. There, Badger notices a large boulder blocking the water from flowing down the stream. He uses a long stick as a lever and with all of them working together, they are able to move the rock and restore the water flow to the stream.

This book is filled with adorable pictures and lovable characters who are all in the business of helping each other out and being good friends. When faced with a big problem, they all work together to find a solution. The qualities and actions of the characters in this book create an underlying theme of being a good friend. This story is great for helping younger kids learn to work together and be good friends, as well as teaching problem solving skills, or even a quick example of using levers (from science). Simple and sweet, this story is sure to warm the heart and make you smile.
