Excavators dig. Bulldozers push dirt. Backhoes move rocks. Cement mixers pour the foundation. There are lots of different tools used to build house. Even a moving truck is needed to help someone move in after the construction is done. All that's left to be done is to meet the neighbors and hang pictures on the walls.
This is a brightly colored, full-spread board book with repetitive verse and rhymes. Little kids obsessed with trucks and tools will love this book that includes them all working together to build a home. While this simple book doesn't offer anything special for a toddler or baby book, it certainly doesn't fall short. The illustrations use solid, bright colors and bold designs that will draw the attention of even the youngest readers and listeners.
