The Cracks in the Kingdom is an enjoyable novel full of unpredictable twists and turns. The characters are well developed and add dimension to the story. Author Jaclyn Moriarty weaves her writing style from serious as the mystery unfolds to downright hilarious as the characters try to save the royal family. Readers who like fantasy will find the imaginative world of Cello intriguing. Mystery enthusiasts will soak up the intricate details of the parallel worlds. The only fault in the book is having to wait for the next book in the series!
