It’s December 24th and Brave Knight, Polite Knight, and Silent Knight are protecting their King’s castle. Santa Claus comes to deliver gifts to the knights but they mistake him for an invader. They attempt to send him away, but Santa is determined to give them their gifts. He catapults the gifts into the castle before flying away and wishing “Merry Christmas to all!”
The Knights Before Christmas is a parody of Clement Clarke Moore’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. The medieval twist on a classic Christmas tale is entertaining for both children and adults. The knights’ comments parody several other well-known Christmas songs. The illustrations also make a few visual puns that will amuse those that catch them. The Knights before Christmas will be a great addition to the holiday season.
