This is a serious book for serious readers only. There is no dancing, laughing, throwing, chewing, sharing, drawing, misbehaving, or other such nonsense behavior allowed. But when donkey and zebra have a parade and invite all of their other animal friends to join, this serious book soon turns into a serious party and a not so serious book.
The text and illustrations tell two different stories as the narrator tries to get rid of all the fun things the characters are doing. Children and adults will laugh at the silly things each of the animals do and how they ignore the narrator. This book has a fun message of embracing silliness and not taking life too seriously. The colorful illustrations are entertaining and exciting as they show how fun it is to write your own story.
