Three little monkeys are all alone at home. They feel bored, so get into all sorts of mischief. Hilda Snibbs tells them to behave the next morning before she leaves again. One day, she comes home and there is no mess in the kitchen, or the bathroom, or the living room. But where can her monkeys be? She cries and cries and cries until she needs a new handkerchief. She goes to the closet and finds her monkeys!
This is a playful story with gorgeous illustrations. Even though the monkeys cause lots of trouble, Hilda Snibbs still loves them. Some children may feel that if they do something wrong and someone is mad at them, that person hates them. But that is not the case. This story is great for young ones and is easy to understand from the illustrations.
