This book is simply baby gorillas being cute baby gorillas. They step and reach, clap and play doing things you might find your little monkey doing. Baby gorillas are darling, let's face it!
In this book, there is one word and one gorilla per page, until the end when all words and gorillas are combined in one image for a review. This book is good for learning and vocabulary, and a good arm scratching "ooo-ooo" now and then. Not all images are equally descriptive of the action, and the book could be more dynamic. Children will enjoy looking at the gorilla and hearing the words describing his actions, but it won't be everyone's favorite.
