A toy dinosaur collection is loose in the school! They travel from the locker to the art room and the cafeteria, leaving quite a mess in their path. Dinosaurs fighting with chalk erasers, talking louder than a whisper in the library, and squirting friends with a juice box fill the pages of this humorous book. Apparently, dinosaurs never learn because, even when they’re banished to the “drawer of no return,” they still have a dance party!
What the Dinosaurs Did at School is a fun addition to Refe and Susan Tuma’s book titled What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night. It’s full of colorful photographs of toy dinosaurs strategically placed to make kids and adults laugh. Each page spread includes dinosaurs discovering a new room of school unoccupied by young students. The text includes many questions from an unknown narrator who frequently talks to the dinosaurs, similar to the narrator of The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear.
